About Me

This website, has been a dream project of mine. Hello, I am Kanishq Verma,  an undergrad student. Right after enrolling into engineering, I realized it isn’t for me. 

 

 

Why this Website?

What I’ve really wanted to do is Travel. I’m an avid explorer, adventurer and travel enthusiast. I have had a dream to travel the world, ever since I was a little kid. I would see airplanes fly over me and dream of travelling the world one day. It’s been too long and I’ve decided it is time I actually put in some work to achieve that goal of mine.

Through this blog, I’m trying my best to gain location independence and make something useful for everybody. I do not come from a rich background, and after saving money for years (yes, years), I decided to invest some of it into buying a domain and hosting. 
After that, I got sidetracked into a bunch of other less important stuff, which I regret and a year later, here I am, trying to make something out of it.
I am going to regularly update and maintain this website, in hopes of it becoming a stepping stone in my journey. In worst case scenario, this step fails and it ends up being a really expensive diary of my journeys (lol).

What kind of Travel I’m into?

I am in love with the idea of travelling itself, so I enjoy different kinds of experiences, but my favorite would have to be adventure travelling. As Anthony Bourdain once said, “Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you”, I cherish and adore the highs and the lows of this roller coaster. It gives me immense pleasure to suffer in the trenches and dream of the sunny days, and then living those sunny days. 

Of course, I enjoy a nice trip every once in a while as well, but even so, I try to become a part of the culture I experience.

What can you expect going forward?

Currently, I live in Delhi, and kicking it off, I will take you through the streets of Delhi, like never before. I know this city inside out and trust me, you want to tag along for this journey.
